Focus on
"Jewelry"
Over the last year I have been creating jewelry designs to cut out of the unused parts of the large stainless plates that my sculptures are cut from. The plates thicker than .12 inch (12 gauge) are too thick and heavy, but the .12 inch material has a great weight and feel.
Stainless steel is actually lighter in weight than gold or silver. It is an industrial material but the color is warm and it will not tarnish. The brushed surface takes on the colors surrounding it.
I have designed these bracelets and pendants as body sculpture. They have the same brushed finish as my large sculptures and the laser cut edges retain the grain of the cut. The bracelets are similar to my "Drawing in Space" sculptures. They are designed to fit from the wrist over the hand, creating a special statement. Each is signed.
The pendants are finished with a variety of chains and cords and clasps and each has a personalized tag. Some have rings of anodized titanium for just a little bit of color. - Marsh

Photo Montage "Lens, Stem, &
Seeds", revisiting the still life. I started by setting up each fruit or vegetable as an arranged still life. After photographing each of them whole, in groups, and up close, I started cutting into them, exposing more texture and pattern. There are twenty three images to date.
Two to five photographs are combined to create each image. Archively printed images on paper and framed and mounted images will be available including artist proofs. more
